Started nursing in 1995 at University of Sheffield School of Nursing and enjoyed 10 years of Acute Respiratory Medicine at Rotherham Hospital following qualifying as a Registered Nurse. Made the career move to General Practice nursing in 2007. Practice Nurse at a Sheffield GP practice from 2007 to 2014.
Then took on the role as a Nurse Practitioner in general practice from 2014 following undertaking the prescribing V300 and minor illness management post graduation courses at Sheffield Hallam University.
Completed the 3yr MSC qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice at Sheffield Hallam University in 2023 to become an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
Enjoys walking with her dog Frank and socialising with her family and friends.
