Our practice pharmacist Amy Khoo holds an independent prescribing pharmacist qualification. Amy can review and prescribe for most conditions where a clear diagnosis has already been made by a GP or Physician Associate. She undertakes many of our medication reviews, some long-term condition reviews (asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension) and helps co-ordinate Flu and Covid clinics. Amy also leads the pharmacy technician team in resolving medication queries and updating medication from hospital letters.

Janet Edwards is our experienced pharmacy technician who supports Amy and the clinical team in their work. She updates medication from hospital letters, deals with queries such as out of stock medication, and runs audits to continually improve the quality of our prescribing.

Sravanthi Ramineni is our apprentice pharmacy technician. Sravanthi completed a pharmacy degree in India but needs to undergo additional training in the UK before she can register as a pharmacist here. Sravi will be with us for a minimum of two years to assist Amy and Janet with medication-related tasks while completing the pharmacy technician apprenticeship.
