Flu season has come early this year with cases rising quickly and predictions that this could be one of the worst flu seasons in a decade (Prof Christophe Fraser, from the Pandemic Sciences Institute at the University of Oxford) making it a challenging winter for the NHS. With UKHSA also recently issuing a cold weather alert, it is vital that eligible people understand the urgency and come forward for their vaccine as soon as possible.
We have flu vaccine appointments available at the surgery in early October. Appointments can be booked by ringing reception.
